Hosting in highly secure data centres

With a hosting agreement, your company rents one or more servers in one of our two hosting centres. We maintain the IT installations and keep the solution updated ensuring that the control system and other software are always the most recent versions.

With increased requirements for IT security, fire- and theft-security makes it even more attractive to put your it-solution in our high-end hosting centres that contain all necessary security facilities. For instance, the hosting infrastructure is connected to several operators worldwide for maximum robustness and optimal response times.

Naturally, we make sure to monitor the IT solution on many different parameters, so we know when more resources are needed e.g. more disc space, more RAM, etc.

If you have specific needs for using services available in other public clouds as for instance Microsoft Azure or Office365, we handle the task by connecting the solutions in what we call a “Hybrid cloud”-setup. Hybrid cloud are services from several private and/or public clouds gathered in one solution.

Backup at a safe distance

The IT revision continuously tighten the requirements. With good reason. One of the most recent requirements is that the backup must be situated a certain number of kilometres away from the rest of the IT installation. At Unit IT, we have placed our backup in Aarhus, 95 km from our headquarters in Middelfart. Then you and your data are even better secured.
